Thanksgiving!
It has been so long since I've posted on this and so much has happened..... Halloween was a blast and I will try to make it a priority to put some of those pictures on here. I made a turkey this year- and it was pretty good! I am not a big turkey person, but Justin and the kids are and they're still eating it so that's good I suppose. It was nice to have just us this year so we could do without all the extra foods we don't like anyway such as cranberries, yams, and gravy. Justin and I have very bland tastebuds- we don't even buy ketchup or mayo and the only reason our kids know about is from going to grandma simmons house. They all get it on their burgers now! lol Mashed potatos and warm rolls are the best for me on Thanksgiving! We have a tradition of always having sparkling cidar and then before going to bed instead of having reading time we sit down with the kids and help them to write letters to santa. Anthony thought of fifteen things and said that santa will have a "selection to choose from". ha ha Alex loves dinosaurs now and Lexie gets excited over anything pink or girly. Not sure she is mine! Alyssa now sits up and still refuses a bottle. The other day I took a hour long walk knowing she was hungry when I left and Justin was determined to give her a bottle. Well, she cried for about ten minutes and then fell a sleep in his arms and then as soon as I walked in the door she woke up and if she smelt me. She ate a lot and then was back to her perky self- brat! She will eat rice chex, cheerios, baby veggies, and loves macaroni and cheese. I gave her a few bites of pumpkin pie with some cool whip and she loved it! I think bread makes her gums feel good cause she doesn't have any teeth yet. One tooth has flirted with coming in a few times but then doesn't- which I am ok with as I am still feeding her. Even Lexie had a couple of teeth at her age. Lexie is struggling with potty training right now unless she is in a mood to care to use the toilet so I'm starting to get tougher on her. We have a sticker sheet up and when she goes she gets to pick out a sticker and put it on and I think I'll think of something to do when she has two accidents in a row. Potty training sucks! ha ha Well, off to go clean the house, but will write more when Anthony gets home cause he asked me yesterday when he could write about himself.
